Idea
Xalleah is still asleep. This is a dream she is having. There are some strange things in the dream that she cannot explain. Things move around or are not in the correct places, and the details are not correct to the way of politics. She knows these things in her mind, but dreams them up anyway. She notices that there are a lot of inconsistencies in her dream. Other things about the dream trigger ideas, and are true in part.

The dream
The dream:
Xalleah is looking through the law book to find the number for the law that made slavery legal, in order to outlaw it
She sees the correct law, looks at it, read over it twice, appears to be slightly angry , slams the book shut, places it on the table, and walks out of the room.
Beh'knet wakes up and sees her stomp out of the room (It is not quite day) but Xalleah doesn't notice.
Xalleah comes back into the room, grabs the book, looks up and notices Beh'knet is awake.
"good morning Beh'knet."
Xalleah stomps out of the room again, and goes down the hall to the right. She passes about four doors, and the goes into one, not bothering to knock.
"Okano!"
"Yes Mam?"
"Don't mam me!
"What's the meaning of this?"
"why does it say in the law book that slavery became legal after the date my parents were killed?"
"I had it passed -"
"You had no such permission, and no such right! Am I, or am I not in charge?"
"You were but a child madam!"
"You were to consult me, and you knew it!"
" I am your advisor, not the other way around mam."
"I said don't mam me! You had no right-
"I will not do so again"
"That's all you have to say?"
"What else is there to say, ma'm?"
"Did I not say not to ma'm me?"
"Sorry madam"
Xalleah starts to loose it and then calms down a bit.
Xalleah says "I'm repealing that law today!"
"Mam, i advise you otherwise. . ."
Xalleah really starts to loose it.
Xalleah says "Well, you're fired! You haven't given good advice in years!"
Okano steps toward Xalleah about to hit her and then changes his mind, calming down a little.
Xalleah exclaims, somewhat loudly "I have flown. . .high above the clouds. . ."
Okano stares, amazed and daunted.
Xalleah continues ". . .what makes you think you can bring me down?"
Advisor backs up slightly so that he is below the door-frame "You still remember that old Ballad? "
"You better believe it!"
"SEE IF YOU EVER!. . ." Goes the rest of the way out the door, slams it, and locks it. Xalleah runs to the door, trying to get it open, pounding and screaming.
Conversation between Kengi And Beh'knet;
(do this later)
Kengi comes down hall, and hears Xalleah screaming.
Xalleah is exclaiming phrased loudly, slightly out of breath, and in between phrases, breathing hard."LET ME OUT. . .stupid. . .so stupid. . .PLEASE. . .someone?"
Kengi replies, confused."Shama Xalleah?"
"Oh, thank goodness!(still out of breath) Can you unlock it Uto? "
"Rusijo Shama. . .It takes a key."
"Review Kengi. . .What are the Onoshan words for Rosijo and Shama?
"No Miss."
"Correct"
"Why are we doing lessons now Shama. . . Miss?"
"You may call me Shama if you'd rather. We're just reviewing. Where is your mother?
"Mother?"
"Ryeisha."
"M'ya is your kito to Sotue"
"Speaking with your father?Is he coming here, to Onosha after all?"
"Siruje Shama"
"use 'yes' not 'siruje' I understand, others will not."
"Yes Shama"
"wait. . . the eagle! The ballad of the eagle!It's the reminder!
"What Shama?"
"A song. It reminds us that we can ride on their wings. . .look up to them. . .I have the Shiekon to call Shamora. . ."
Xalleah gets out a wooden instrument resembling a flute.
"Shiekon Shama?"
"An instrument. . .music maker. . .sort of."
"What does it have to give us?"
"One minute"
Xalleah puts the interment to lips, moving her fingers. There is no sound emitted by the instrument but she continues to move her fingers.
Xalleah stops and says "just wait."
"what-"
"there is a small window in here, an small one. . ."
"Yes Shama, but it's no use-"
"Later, Uto, we will go over some Onoshan history"
"w-"
"Hold on Uto. . ."
A large bird appears in skyline. Xalleah puts instrument to mouth and appears to blow a single note.
The bird, an Onoshan Eagle, directs flight toward the window and begins to get even closer .
Xalleah says "Here she comes! Shamora?! SHAMORA!
"I hear you child! Must you shout?" The voice is somewhat quiet.
Shamora gets closer still, and lands in windowsill, almost unable to fit. The window is about a foot tall, and two feet wide. She must lean forward to fit comfortably, since she is a good two and a half feet tall.
Xalleah says "Can you fit through the window?"
Shamora examines window. "yes child, but why would I want to go in there?"
"No, not here Shamora. All the windows, as you know, are the same in this castle. Can you come in my bedroom window, and unlock this here door?"
"Child, you must be joking!"
"Please Shamora?! You are the only person besides Ryeisha I know who can pick the lock, and she's out of town!"
"Fine Child--"
"but be quick, as not to disrupt the others."
"I wish you would not order me around child. Fine, fine." flies away, going to the left.
Silence for a minute.
Kengi says to Xalleah"Shama, who was that?"
"Just a friend, Kengi"
"Shama, the words!"
"What?"
"The ones meaning 'I hate this mess"
"Eshala D'zarro?"
"Yes, Shama, Do you want out of this mess?"
"Yes. . but--"
"Think how much and say those words."
"B-- okay, Uto. . .
Xalleah thinks hard and concentrates.
"Eshala D'zarro!"
Xalleah and Kengi hear doorknob move. Kengi opens the door.
"There!"
"what the heck? wha--"
Shamora flies in. and exclaims "Oh, useless trip. . .useless trip! Why did you make me fly in here girl?"
"uhh. . . Sorry Shamora. Kengi, was that a spell?"
Kengi exclaims "Yes, Shama, M'ya uses it all the time."
"You'd better not be cheating on your work with that spell Uto. If i ever catch you using that spell again without dire need, I will tell your mother."
Sadly says "Yes Shama"
"But I am glad you know it anyway."
Xalleah is awoken by___________,and realizes that she still has to get slavery outlawed. She knows that there was never actually a law making slavery legal. Slavery has been around forever. She does not know why she dreamed that Okano had it passed, and decides to double check. Finding that she was correct in there being no law to make slavery legal she writes down a message saying this: Slavery is hereby outlawed and illegal. Any act of enslavement will be susceptible to punishment.
She then goes over and sets up the typewriter for typing and types up the message four times formally, being careful not to make any errors. She signs each copy: Xalleah O.H.
She stacks the papers up nicely and waits until morning arrives to send the messages. She ponders on weather she should have her old friend Shamora do it. She is afraid that Okano won't do the job properly. (He has been taking all messages to the massage board for the last four years)

Description: at height 5 feet,2 inches Xalleah is like many Onoshan-felines, having still, some feline traits. She has general human appearance and a tail, a super-thin line of fur that can barely be seen, with fur about a 3/4 inch long on forehead, making it appear that she has bangs.
Personality: Xalleah is the quiet leisurely type, thought she is not lazy. She finds interests in many things, and loves to garden and study. She does not like anger in people, seeing me kneed for it, and tries to keep people from getting angry, over the last years she has been known as a pushover, and she is now planning to turn that around.
Background:The Kingdom Xalleah is currently ruling (Onosha)had been put under a curse a short time after she was born. The curse causes the Onoshan-Felines to remain mostly in human form, for before they were cats that could chance into human form at will, and now they were mostly in human form. (Except the fact that many still have the more prominent cat traits) When Xalleah was three, her family was killed at wartime, but the kingdom was not lost. Her, her nurse, and her royal advisor had survived, and her royal advisor brought her up. Surprisingly, she did not grow close to him.
