| Description: |
Do you want to know how a dragon can spit fire? Or do you really want to sweat (or make somebody else sweat................) like a dragon? Try this recipe. Italian dragons love it. Do not forget to serve water too.........the fire might be dangerous. |
| |
Ingredients: |
Fresh (or dried) penne riagata (durom wheat semolina), 2 toes of garlic per person, red and green paprika (cut into small pieces, a spoon of each), one dragon's anger (dried chili peppers) per person, half a can sliced and peeled tomatoes per person, some fresh parsley, celery, olive-oil as you like it, salt and black pepper, a little sugar and a little dried bay-leaves and enough water too cook the pasta in. |
| |
Preparation: |
Cook the penne rigata in a large bowl until you can still bite it (do not overcook it), during cooking the pasta, you can prepare the sauce: cut the garlic into small pieces (if you wash your hands later with a some lemon juice, the smell will go of), add the paprika, cut the dried chili peppers (be careful not to touch your eyes, it makes a dragon cry, I can tell you that out of experience...), add the peeled tomatoes (try to get rid of most of the juices that come with it, the sauce you are going to make with it must be firm, not thin) and add the other ingredients. Heat the sauce in a small pan for some minutes (just to soften the paprika) and add the olive oil. Put the cooked pasta into a serving bowl, add the sauce and stir it gently. Serve Italian cheese (for instance Parmesan) in a separate bowl, it could help to lower the anger....
Enjoy the meal and sweat during eating......
